Question:
I have a Jayco Swift 264 travel trailer. GVWR is 6500 lbs.. When I bought the trailer from a private party it came with the E2 system with 92-00-0600 bars and trunnions. Should I be running the 92-00-0800 bars instead. I currently switched it back to my old chain system, because of the noise, but now realize I gave up anti sway ability in doing this, and think it may be best to go back to the E2 system. How do you figure proper tilt/head angle of the ball? Also, what are 800 lb. bar dims? can I just buy bars and install them in my current trunnions? I tow with a 2019, Ram 1500. Thanks for all the help everyone, I greatly appreciate your input and professional opinions.

Yes, your 2013 Jayco Swift 264BH travel trailer should have had the Fastway e2 rated for 8,000lbs # FA92-00-0800 since the dry tongue weight is already 500lbs. The 6,000lb # FA92-00-0600 would have been quickly overloaded since it is only for trailer tongue weights up to 600lbs. You can replace your spring bars with the Trunnion Spring Bars # FA92-01-0899 that include the knuckle since the trunnion bars are different dimensions.
I have linked the installation instructions for the Fastway e2 hitch system below. I recommend starting from the first steps to ensure you do get everything installed correctly and achieve the correct head angle on your hitch. This is determined when connected to your tow vehicle to ensure the hitch carries enough weight transfer to reduce the rear end sag to a safe level.
