Hi- I have a follow up to a previous QandA … see below. I have both the Thule plate holder and the Curt # 53201 aux indicator lights. The Kurt has 4 wires: brown, yellow, white, and green. The Thule has two wires - red and black. Can you help with identifying the correct wires from the 2 systems to splice ?? To add tail lights and a license plate to your Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # NV22G I recommend picking up the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 and the Thule License Plate Holder # TH35JV - youll need to splice in the wiring from the Thule to the running light and ground functions of the Curt wiring but aside from that the installation should be pretty straightforward since the Curt installs with 3M adhesive backing and the Thule installs with straps. The wires on your Curt LED light kit # C53201 are as follows;

Brown - Running lights
Yellow - Left turn
Green - Right turn
White - Ground

So the Brown wire will splice to the Red wire on the license plate holder # TH35JV . The Black wire is your ground, so that would go to the white wire on the # C53201.
