Keeping your license plate visible after dark is simple with the integrated LED light on this holder. The clear lens covers three white diodes that throw a clean, bright beam right where you need it. Compared to old incandescent bulbs, these LEDs last up to 50 times longer and draw less power—only 0.35 amps at 12V—so you get reliable illumination that’s also efficient.
Wiring doesn’t get much easier than this. The holder uses a 2-wire pigtail with a 6" lead—one for power and one for ground—making setup straightforward on any 12V DC system. No complicated harnesses or bulb changes, just a direct connection that keeps things neat and functional.
The black molded plastic frame is built to hold your standard-size license plate firmly in place while keeping the light protected. This license plate holder installed easily and works great.
This is exactly what I needed. The frame looks great and was very easy to install. Held in place with five sheet metal screws, its not going to warp and flop against the back of the trailor. Most importantly, it looks great! The ordering and tracking of the shipment is why I always choose etrailer over Another online retailer. If the product gets lost in shipment, etrailer makes good on their shipment, Another online retailer says “gee, thats too bad but not our problem” I always trust etrailer.
This license plate bracket works wonderful for my application. The 3 leds light up really well and the bracket is thick and made well.
I am using it on the rear of my 1935 Ford 3 window couple to cover up the holes left from removing the spare tire carrier. Makes the car look sporty and a lot lighter.

I purchased this 2 years ago and it still looks great and functions as intended! I had to return another item in the order due to a shipping mistake but Patrick quickly rectified the issue. I would purchase additional items from e trailer again due to the quick response to my order
Delivery took over two weeks but that was a P.O. issue not etrailer's. It is well made thick plastic. I added ring lug on the white wire for ground and butt crimp on the black for the positive wire and we have lots of light. I think the light assembly could be better weather protected on top where the power wires go in so I added some silicon. Maybe over kill but that's me. I tapped the holes for the tag 1/4-20 and used four short screws as it only came with two mis matched self taping screws. I pop riveted it the ramp (door) of my Haulmark and I'm happy.
This makes our license plate so much easier to see and is more secure than the way it was originally fastened.
This is a nice frame that is well built and holds your place very securely.
It is a SURFACE mounted frame to replace the INSET mounted frame I had mistakenly ordered (from the trailer manufacturer!).
Etrailer is the best source because of all the views of the product they provide so that you can know what you are actually getting.

Still in great shape, no trouble whatsoever.
Wish I knew about this when relocating the license plate on my utility trailer .
Everything arrived on time and was exactly what was advertised and needed. Since I added a spare tire carrier to my motor home's trailer hitch, I needed to relocate the rear license plate to be visible. E Trailer had exactly what I needed to complete this project.

Great product and after 1 year still working without any issues.
I was upgrading the tail lights on my travel trailer with LED. The new light, unlike the original, did not have a license plate holder.
I wanted something that would be easy to walk near and clean around without risking getting cut.
This one fit tat requirement, easy install, plenty of room under the item to put light wires.
There are sufficient holes to use four screws. It came with two screws to hold the plate on... wish it had four.

Still a good product.
So far so good. Way better than the OEM light and bracket that came with my ‘96 Born Free 25RB President. Kind of wish I had gotten the white one now, but the black will last longer IMO.
The first one that was sent out was missing screws.So they sent out a another whole unit for free! I could not be happier
Exact replacement for a full size license plate on my Pace cargo trailer. Even the mounting holes lined up!! The lights are bright and its a good price.
Works great, may even be a little too bright, we will see. Nice replacement for old broken factory piece. I will say, etrailer could stand to step up their shipping. They're on the slow side with it taking 2-3 days to fulfill the actual order and then 3-5 to get here. I also received this and 4 speakers loose in a box with a sheet of packing paper with fortunately nothing scratched or damaged.

Did not come with the mounting hardware as advertised.
