I want to carry a bike rack behind my 2024 Subaru Crosstrek but it did not come with a hitch. Can you tell me what parts are best?

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98912 as the best option for your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. This receiver gives you a 2" opening allowing for a larger selection of hitch mounted accessories. The matte black finish provides a clean factory appearance which I find is more durable than the gloss black finish most manufacturers use.
You will also want to install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56040 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 on your bike rack as larger bikes will most likely interfere with the view of your tail lights. If you select a bike rack like the Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack # KU98VR it will already have the auxiliary lights from the factory which work in either the lowered or raised position.
