Are The Peterson LED Tail Lights a Replacement Option For Shore Land'r 5110570 and 5110569?

It sure looks like this light can be a substitute for Shorelandr #5110570 from Trailer Parts Superstore. Please confirm. If yes, Id prefer this light as the 5110570 is a 2-piece design which fails after little use as the rear portion containing the LEDs is only attached to the base by a snap-fit no screws or glue. Vibration causes the snap-fit features to wear out. This results in the rear portion falling out, hanging by the wires gorilla tape is a temporary fix to keep it in place. Then your #PE87RV should replace Shorelandr #5110569. Right? I would splice the leads into the pigtail of old 5110570 to still use the 3 pin connector.

Yes, the Peterson LED Trailer Tail Lights Driver # PE27RV and Passenger # PE87RV will replace your Shore Land'r 5110570 and 5110569 tail lights. Rather than reusing the push connect wiring from your current tail lights I recommend picking up weather tight connectors from a local hardware store. These connectors seal much better and have a retainer to hold them in place unlike the stock connector which can easily pull apart.
