I would like to know if you can put a suitcase in the cargo carriers?

The internal dimensions of the Yakima GearLocker Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y44VR used for the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System # Y74ZR are 51-11/16" long x 17" wide x 14-5/8" tall.
Those inside dimensions work for a good amount of suitcase sizes, but some of the larger suitcases likely will not fit. If your suitcase fits within those dimensions, then you can absolutely put it in the cargo carrier.
