Question:
Hello, I have a 2021 Ford Explorer XLT. I would like to purchase 2 seadoo jet skis with a trailer in the future and to tow a bike rack for two mountain bikes. I was looking for your hidden class 3 hitch with trailer wiring connector and ball mount kit as best to look OEM. Is this the way to go? DT66GR Thx

Great it sounds like you are already on the right track here. The Draw tite hidden hitch # DT66GR is a great choice for your 2021 Ford Explorer XLT. Once installed, only the 2" Receiver is visible under the bumper. Once you pull the pin and remove the receiver, you will not even know its there, save for a small square cut out of the underbody panel, which is really not visible to the naked eye. The 2" receiver will be perfect for a jet ski trailer and virtually any bike rack.
For your wiring all you will need is a 4 flat connector for a jet ski trailer. For vehicles with the factory tow package I recommend the # C55384 which is plug and play. If you do not have the factory tow package you will need the # C56093 instead. You can refer to your owners manual to confirm if your particular vehicle came with the tow package or not.
Last but not least I recommend getting the Curt towing starter kit # C45534. This will come with everything you need to hitch up your trailer including ball mount, ball, and a locking hitch pin.
If you are in the market for a bike rack allow me to recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B. This is a fantastic bike rack and one I have been using personally for about 3 years now. Loading and unloading bikes is very easy, and it is fully lockable. It also has a built in hitch tightener so it will be very stable behind your Explorer. My personal favorite thing about this rack it that it is all black and it LOOKS COOL!
I have linked an installation video below as well as some other literature if you want to take a look. Cheers!
