Will The Trailer Hitch DT73QR Obstruct The Lift Gate Sensor On A 2023 Lexus RX 350?

One of your q and a answers indicates your tow hitch should be compatible with the lift gate kick sensor on a 2023 Lexus RX 350 h because they offer a factory hitch. However I have been told by the dealer that the factory installed hitch is not available with the kick sensor.

That is great information and I appreciate you letting us know. I will say that we have not got our hands on a 2023 RX 350 model yet, so we have not been able to confirm if the hitch # DT73QR will be compatible with the lift gate sensor. In some cases, the receiver will partially obstruct the sensor, but functionality will not be lost. I cannot give you a firm answer on this yet since we have not done the install. I would be inclined to trust what the dealership says. At least until we get a chance to see for ourselves.
