Question:

We have a Dometic Penguin Ii Rv air conditioner- Do you have a replacement thats fits? Do you have to buy an all new air conditioner with the bottom plastic air vent.

If your Dometic Penguin has either a 6-pin or 9-pin connector you can replace the rooftop unit without having to replace the air distribution box or thermostat. If you remove the cover for your air distribution box then you should be able to see the controller and the wire harness that runs from the rooftop unit down to it to see what type of connector it has. If it has a 6-pin connector then you would just need the rooftop unit, if it has a 9-pin connector then it would need an adapter as well. You'll want to check the BTU rating for the unit you're replacing and either match it or go higher.

6-pin:
