Replacing A Dometic Duo-Therm RV AC System With The Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner System

Question:
the units on my holiday rambler never ran . Im confused on the existing units they were dual therm does that mean they had a heat mode also. and you said that if I wanted to go with the second option they came with distribution boxes, so that means I wouldnt be able to use the existing ducting that is in the RV now.

Dometic labels their AC units as "Duo Therm" but that is more just branding than meaning they would also have a heating function. Some models do have heat pumps or a heat strip though which I can determine for you if you send in a picture of the serial number sticker which you can find inside the rooftop unit.
The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Mutli Zone - 15,000 Btu - LED - White # FR67FJ is compatible with ducted and ductless systems so it will work your 1999 Holiday Rambler's duct system. You may only have a plenum in place of a distribution box since your system is ducted but you can swap it out for the Furrion distribution box.

Hello, I have a 2012 Palomino Puma with a Dometic Duo Therm AC System. I am wanting to replace this original piece of equipment for a Furrion® FACR15HESA-PS-AM, White Chill HE RV Roof Air Conditioner. Will this be okay?
