Do I Need a Thermostat and a Distribution Box for a Penguin II 651816?

Question:
So I have a penguin ii 651816 with a heat pump my question is would this work with that? I called dometic and they told me I needed to have a thermostat which I really don’t want to do, also what wiring is involved on this install? thanks!

Sorry Derrick but Dometic's answer is going to be the same one I have for you. Since you have a heat pump you will definitely need a thermostat like item # DMC23ZR. The Dometic Air Distribution Box for RV Air Conditioners item # DMC43ZR is plug and play set up.
