Does Dometic CT Thermostat and Control Board # DMC83ZR Work with Heat Pump

Question:
On the backside of the Kit box it says : for AC without heatstrip option”. I believe my Dometic has a heat strip option. Is that something I need to consider?

Hey Trudy, the Dometic thermostat kit part # DMC63ZR was designed to be used with units that have a heat pump which you can see printed on the control box. A heat pump is different from a heat strip but they are pretty easily confused so you might check to make sure you have a heat strip or a heat pump. The Dometics are more known for heat pumps so I would assume that is what you have.
