Upgrading From Curt E16 to A16 on Ram 2500

Question:
I want to upgrade from an E16 to an A16. They are both mounted on a slider. Can I mount the A16 onto my ram 2500 puck system that currently is mounted to my E 16 hitch? Alternatively, can I just swap heads between the two?

Expert Reply:
I'm assuming you have adapter rails like # C29BR in your Ram 2500 puck system which are industry standard rails. If that is the case then yes, you can install the Curt A16 # C16521 on the same rails. You can also swap out the head. The Curt R16 # C16560 is the base for both the E16 and A16. The A16 replacement head is the # C16520 and you will also need the head mounting hardware # C35UR.
