Question:

We have a 2008, 1500 RAM and its time for it to go. It has a Reese PRO Series 15K Reese hitch that is only used to pull a 2700lb, 21ft, RV trailer. We are considering either 2023 1500 RAM or same year Tundra. The Tundra was our first choice as they have such a good reputation but will consider another RAM. I think we should only need a rail knit for the underside of the bed to go with our Reese rails, correct? You list several rail kits but am confused as to which will fit either the Tundra or RAM as some kits are listed as not a confirmed fit. Were confused, so to net it out, what rail kits do have for either truck? I welcome a phone call as more question usually arise as ideas progress. Welcome to call, Thanks for the help

Since you have Reese fifth wheel rails all you would need is the correct bracket kit to mount them in the new truck you end up with under normal circumstances. With that said we only have the outboard style of Reese fifth wheel rail kits available for the 2023 Ram 1500 with the part # RP56018-53. These rails might be what you have but they are larger and the mounting brackets attach to the outsides of the frame rails instead of the insides.

For just the bracket kit you'd want the part # RP56018 which we currently don't have available. We do not have any fifth wheel rail kits that fit a 23 Tundra at this time.
