When you’re towing or hauling heavy cargo, rear-end sag can throw off your steering and braking. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 6,000 lbs of extra rear-axle support to keep your vehicle level and stable under load. Each hollow rubber spring mounts above the axle to reinforce your factory suspension without changing its normal ride height when unloaded. The result is a smoother, more controlled drive and better weight balance when you’ve got gear, trailers, or campers hooked up.
Bumpy roads and uneven loads don’t have to beat up your suspension. Timbren’s Aeon hollow rubber springs compress progressively—soft at first for cushioning, then more rigid as weight increases. That smart design absorbs road shock and helps prevent bottoming out on rough surfaces. It also limits body roll in corners and keeps off-center loads steady so your steering feels planted and predictable no matter what’s in the bed.
When heavy trailers or side winds start to push your vehicle around, each Timbren spring works independently to keep the left and right sides balanced. That independent action reduces body roll when turning or swerving and helps control sway from passing trucks or gusty conditions. It keeps both your vehicle and trailer tracking straight so long drives feel safer and more comfortable.
Installing rear suspension support shouldn’t take a full day in the shop. This kit includes two Aeon hollow rubber springs, custom brackets, and hardware that replace the factory bump stops on the frame—no drilling required. There are no air hoses, compressors, or gauges to worry about, just a straightforward bolt-on design that’s easy for DIYers using basic tools. Once installed, it’s completely maintenance-free and built for long-term reliability with a limited lifetime warranty.

After a full summer of pulling my 5th wheel trailer I can factually say the ride of my truck dramatically improved! My wife noticed the difference too and commented on how much smoother everything feels. Im also convinced the smoother ride will reduce wear and tear on the springs, shocks and axel. The Timbren RSE should be standard on all trucks. Buy this product and you wont be disappointed.

Good system! Simple and it works for my application! I have an 825 Lance in bed camper and I haul a 19’ Thunderjet boat the overloads reduce any sway and make for a comfortable ride

Ken have not had a chance to tow 5er on the road yet,I did have to move it in the storage lot from one spot to another and am impressed that my truck stayed level I looked at the timbrens with the 5er hooked up and they were compressed some should have taken pic the tongue weight according to the website is aroond 1800 its a montana 3400rl hope this helps some, will update after towing waiting to mount new tires also bought from etrailer the provider G rated and has an L speed rating tire they are definitely heavy duty trailer tires and just from looking at them and picking up would say they are a good tire after some mileage will be the true test

Timbren confirms the # TDR2500CA as a fit for your truck. Does the truck have the original leaf springs? If so, the springs have very likely flattened out over the years, taking up that 1 to 1-1/2 inch of pre load that's supposed to be there...
