Correct Replacement Switch Kit for Kwikee 28 Series Steps That Work In Reverse

Hello, I replaced the motor and gearbox-28 series single step-thanks again for the quick shipping step now operates backwards from prior to repairs wondering if you can help once more? It is a door plunger switch, and the control is original to the coach an 06-I suspect that the control is what is sensitive to the switch type/operation but I guess it is possible that the new motor could also require a different switching action. Thoughts and best guesses really appreciated.

According to our contact at Kwikee there is only two reasons why your Kwikee 28 series steps are operating backwards.
One reason could be to the switch being the wrong switch, or that the wires were flipped during install.
Since you mention that you've recently replaced your motor and gearbox with a new one, I'd suggest checking those connections and make sure they installed correctly.
If that wiring looks good, then the issue is with the switch and you'd need to upgrade it with the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC369299.
If that still does not work, then I'd recommend reaching out to Lippert because there is likely a defect that Is not allowing your steps to work correctly.
