How to Determine if Shocker 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box Fits Recessed Flatbed Gooseneck

Question:

Will this work inside of a recessed flat bed gooseneck ball box? Like on a Bradford built flatbed. Also, what is the overall height adjustment?

It depends on the dimensions of the recessed gooseneck, but it is possible you can use the Shocker 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pinbox for Lippert 1716/1116/0115 and Fabex # SHK55MR.

If you take a look at the diagram from Shocker you can see the necessary dimensions the gooseneck pocket needs to be. The width and length should be at least 12 inches x 12 inches, and the top of the hitch ball can be no more than 2 inches from the top of the pocket.

As for height the # SHK55MR is not height-adjustable, the only thing that is adjustable is the air bag, as you can add the exact amount of air pressure you want for your needs.
