Hitch Holes Don't Line Up on EcoHitch For 2023 Subaru Ascent

Question:
I purchased the ecohitch X7381 for my 2023 Subaru ascent. when installing the hitch the holes for the front frame holes do not match. They are off by a few inches. Am I install on this correctly? In the photo, I marked how much they are off.

Thank you for the purchase of the EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7381 for your 2023 Subaru Ascent, and what has happened is the hitch has bent a bit, or "flexed" during shipping. This is an all too common issue, though it is remedied by bending the hitch back into shape. I have added a link below to a help article which details steps you can take to do this.
