The # CA-5196-SPR was not designed for a Bulldog 2-5/16" coupler, but measures the 1.68" long and .040" diameter so you can compare that to your current spring to determine if this is going to work for you.

If this won't, just send me over the part number of your coupler and I can try to find the correct replacement for you.

I took a caliper out to our warehouse and measured the Replacement Spring for Ram Sleeve Lock Couplers part #CA-5196-SPR for you, the length is 1.68" and the diameter of the coil is .040".
