Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK

I have a 2017 jeep JK with the towing package 4 pin trailer connector. I’d like to upgrade to a 7 pin/4 pin combo connector to pair with my redarc tow pro elite trailer brake controller. What do you recommend?

To add a 7-Way/4-Way combo vehicle connector to your 2017 Jeep JK, I recommend the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Jeep with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.

You will then connect the blue wire to the blue wire on the Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller item # RED44FR. Then you'll run a wire to your battery to connect the black wire to the positive post and the white wire to ground, and the yellow wire to your Jeep's reverse circuit.
