What Tool Is Needed To Adjust Heavy Duty Shocks # Y08110 For a Yakima Rack & Roll Trailer?

Question:

I have a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer with heavy duty shocks. I want to adjust them up a bit to level my trailer when towing. I assume I will need some sort of spanner wrench to fit the slots in the adjuster, but I can’t find any information on it. I don’t want to just throw on a gigantic pair of channel locks and chew it up.

You are correct that the Heavy Duty Shocks # Y08110 for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer should be adjusted using a spanner wrench. While we do not carry this tool you should be able to find it at a local motorcycle parts store. The tools found at automotive stores are typically going to be larger than what you will need. A 38-42mm spanner wench is the size you will need.
