Height from Bottom of Coupler Lip of Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer to Ground When Trailer is Level
Updated 03/08/2018 | Published 03/07/2018 >
Question:
Hi, In the manual of Yakima Rack and Roll it is stated that „the proper distance from the ground to the top of the hitch ball is 22inch 56cm.“ But what is the height from the ground to the bottom of the coupler of the Yakima RackandRoll trailer? Could you inform me accordingly?

Expert Reply:
For the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08107 the height from the ground to the top of the inside of the coupler where the ball sits is 22 inches so then from the bottom of the coupler lip to the ground measures 20 inches when the trailer sits level.
So if you are looking to pick out a ball mount to use with this trailer you'll want to measure from the ground to the top of the hitch opening and whatever the difference between that dimension is and 20 is the rise/drop you need.
