When Should the Heavy Duty Shocks for the Yakima Rack N Roll Trailer Be Adjsuted
Updated 10/16/2023 | Published 10/14/2023 >
Question:
We just bought heavy duty replacement shocks from you to repair our Yakima Rack and Roll 78. An original heavy duty shock broke, ping the fender onto the tire. Had to replace fender too. I really never paid attention but now see the shocks are adjustable. My dumb question is when would I want to adjust the shocks? Thanks much!

Expert Reply:
You'd only need to adjust the Heavy Duty Shocks for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08110 if you're hauling a heavy load that is causing your shocks to bottom out.
These shocks have 4" vertical adjustability to combat that, so you'd need to adjust according to your load.
