Can I wire the c59326 kit in the trunk lid like the 119250 kit

I'm assuming you're referring to the way the # 119250KIT was installed in our installation video on a 2018 Audi Q7. Yes, you can install the Curt # C59236 the same way on your 2017 Q7. The only difference between the Curt and ZCI is you're splicing into the wiring instead of using the zero-contact interface sensors.
I have attached some installation videos below where the wiring harness is installed behind that panel on the liftgate for your reference.
