Hey Ken! The correct wiring harness depends on whether or not you have the brake controller port/plug. Some models did not include the plug so you will have to check your 2025 Ranger and see. There should be four wires coming out of a large wire harness by the driver side firewall, left of the brake pedal, which can be wired to the brake controller wires.

If you have the brake controller port you can use the # 331-TPH-007 to install the Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. If you only have the wires without the plug, you need the # RED69FR which is the universal wiring harness for a splice-in installation. These also come bundled as the # RED67CR with the custom wiring harness and # RED52VR with the universal.

I’ll be towing a Jayco jay feather 20 ft. I received my order today. I ordered the RED 24 FR, I received a EBRH-ACCNA, are these units the same?, did they send me the correct controller, it’s a bit confusing. I also received the TPH-007 harness.

@KenM the # RED24FR is our part number, Redarc uses EBRH-ACCNA, they are the same thing. We actually have it on the product page sitting below the description and specs. TPH-007 is the same as # 331-TPH-007 but that one is a little more obvious. Assuming you have the factory port you're all set for installation.

@Robin , installed and wired up today, a little bit of a challenge but found a location underneath the drivers side dash near where it needs to plug into. Zipped tied to a metal support frame. Mounted control knob below truck light switch. Hooked up to trailer and all lights are working. Everything seems to be working, all components installed easily and will go out tomorrow to calibrate brakes. Thanks for all your help and support.
