Availability of Yakima 8000164 Timberline Towers

Question:
Yakima advised me to buy 8000164 Timberline Towers for a 2023 Forester Wilderness. They said 8000147 will fit also but spare parts will not be available much longer. Your website shows part number Y33TR. I have 70” Jetstream Bars, so what is the difference between 8000164 and Y33TR. I have over 33 years good experience with Yakima products and want Towers that will have spare parts available for them.

Expert Reply:
Our part number # Y33TR is the same as the Yakima 8000164. I know it's confusing but some manufacturer part numbers we have our own part numbers we use instead.
