Replaces 2 endcaps for your Yakima CoreBar aero crossbars. Endcaps provide a finished look for your roof rack and help protect the interior of the crossbar from rust and corrosion.

A lot of you guys are talking about how these end caps for the Yakima core bars are falling out over time. Well, as you start to put them in and take them out, they start to crack and stuff like that. And they just end up just falling out. So, what we're doing today is just replacing them. We have a quantity of two, so you buy them by the pair. So if you need to replace all four, go for that.
But if you just need to replace two of them, you can just grab one of them. So, it's literally the same exact thing that came with your core bars. They're going to fit the exact same but it's just gonna be a little bit more of a tight fit. So if you lost them, we got the replacement part for you, just so we can protect that inside. Since these are made of steel, making sure that this cap is on there is going to be ideal.
Because we don't want any of that to rust out. If water gets in there, it will eventually rust out. The outside is protected by some powder coat, but the inside is not. So, all you gotta do is just grab these end caps and they will fit on any length bar that you have. Just make sure you have the core bars.
If you don't know which ones you have, just make sure that you don't have a T slot on top. And if that's the case, then you got a core bar and these caps would fit. And that's basically it. There really isn't a whole lot to this part. It's just a replacement part to what you already have.

These Yakima end caps were hard to find, and I was glad to find a source other than that big box online site. These end caps fit TIGHTLY on the Yakima core bars, which means they will admit less water and be less likely to be knocked off by accident. I recommend these end caps.
