Is this locking hitch pin class V rated?

Yes, it is. The Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock item # FA86-00-3160 will work with all 2", 2-1/2", and 3" hitches from class III up to class V. This locking pin has a 5/8" diameter and spans 3-5/8" between ends.
