Availability of Adapter to Lower Height of Trailer Ball Mounted on Towing Bumper of 2005 Ford F150

Question:
I have a 2005 Ford F150 with 8foot bed and it has a bumper mounted ball on the bumper. Can I buy any adaptor to lower the ball appx 4 inches?

If you are speaking of a towing bumper where the bumper itself has a hole in it where you can install a trailer ball, there is no adapter available that would lower the ball.
However, if you installed a frame-mounted trailer hitch like the Hidden Hitch # 87195, you could use a ball mount that would place the trailer ball at the perfect height.
Once the hitch is installed, you can measure to determine the rise or drop of the ball mount needed to level the trailer. I have linked you to a help article that explains how to measure for the correct ballmount as well as an install video showing the hitch being installed.
