Question:

Do I hook my truck up to fifth wheel hitch, then put air in the pin box, or do I put air in it first? How much air ? I have a 21,000 air ride .

There isn't a set standard for the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC155943 air spring psi rating since there's a lot of variables to consider between both the trailer and the tow vehicle. Lippert typically recommends starting out at 20 psi and working your way up in increments of 5 psi until the ride quality is where you want it.

I would keep the air spring at 5 psi at minimum at all times to avoid any damage to the air spring.
