Will the Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack Carry E-Bikes on a Travel Trailer

Question:

Hi - is the Piston Pro X 2 bike rack rated for the full 67 lbs per bike when on a travel trailer? From your description it looks like it might be but the Kuat website says something about 42 lbs Per Tray On Chassis Mount RV Hitch. Our travel trailer Intech Sol Horizon is rated for 175 lbs on the hitch, and our bikes Aventon Level.2 are 54 lbs each so the combination would work if the Kuat is rated for the full 67 lbs per bike. The Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # KU98VR can be used on a travel trailer but the capacity is reduced when doing so to 42 lbs per bike per Kuat. If you're looking for a higher capacity option, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes part # S94FR which can carry bikes up to 70 lbs per bike. Please note, you must remove the folding pin and install the supplied bolt, washers, and nut for RV applications.
