Question:
We have a 2021 Outdoors RV 280KVS Titanium with Lippert auto leveling system TT OCTP revision v3. Its been working great for several years just requiring the occasional re-zeroing. This winter when we were taking the trailer in for service, we retracted the levelers as usual from our driveway in the woods. Due to the snowy, soggy nature of the winter so far, it turned out a few of the levelers were actually frozen to the ground! We were able to break them free from the ice with a shovel and have them retract. But since then one of them right-rear hasnt been behaving, and we havent been able to successfully deploy the levelers automatically. When we ask the system to auto level, everything goes fine for a while. All four levelers deploy to the ground. But then the right-rear leveler actually retracts itself a few inches from the ground, and eventually the process faults. Attempting to extend the right-rear leveler manually from the console works for about one second but then it stops extending. We are able to do this only a few times before it refuses to extend any further. Inspecting the visible components of the leveler there does not appear to be anything awry. Anything you can recommend to try to fix the auto leveling were out in the field for about 6 weeks is greatly appreciated. With some work, weve been able to level and stabilize the trailer with 3 out of 4 levelers behaving, but would obviously prefer that the automatic feature did its thing. Thanks!

The screw is probably damaged in that Lippert Ground Control TT part # LC672136 jack that doesn't work to work right based on what happened and how it is currently performing. You'll need to replace it with a new one with the part # LC404488. My guess is something got damaged when it was trying to move and was frozen to the ground.
