Question:

I have an older Superwinch X3 :500#. It has a female port that is round, about 3/4” with 4 pins for the remote. I need a remote but was told that one is no longer available. I was wondering if a wiring diagram might be available so I could figure out how to modify it for a newer remote? I hate throw it away. Even though it’s old, I think it was barely if ever used.

I confirmed with Superwinch that the remote you need for your older X3 model is either the Replacement Superwinch Rubber Handheld Remote # SW2271 (30 ft. cord) or the # SW2272 (15 ft. cord). Both of these remotes are the same except for the cord length.
