Question:

Can the swagman e spec be adapted back and forth from 2” and 2.5” hitches? What would you use to accomplish this?

Yes, you can use the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # S94FR in both a 2" hitch and a 2.5" hitch.

The Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack # S94FR is already designed to be used in a 2" hitch, so you are good to go there. In order to use the E-Spec in a 2.5" hitch, you will need to use a hitch reducer sleeve.

For a hitch reducer sleeve, I recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve # e26YR. This reducer sleeve will allow you to use the E-Spec bike rack in your 2.5" hitch by reducing it from 2.5" to 2". It is made of a durable steel and slides directly into your hitch receiver.
