Can You Shut the Door with the Lippert SolidStep RV Steps Deployed

Once you fold these steps down, then you are not able to shut your door?

In regards to the Lippert SolidStep RV Steps like part # LC791572, you can still shut the door with the steps deployed. The threshold plate is very thin so the door would still be able to close atop this. I have attached for you below a photo which shows the steps installed and deployed with the door shut.
