How To Help With Lowering Lippert SolidSteps on a Palomino Solaire BHS 240

Question:

We bought a new Plamino Solaire BHS240 , We do not like the Lippert solid steps. They are heavy, they fold out too far, and they throw dirt back in to the rv. Is it possible to replace with aluminum fold out steps ? thanks

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps part # LC791572 on a Palomino Solaire BHS 240 do not appear to be replaceable due to the lack of the standard step mounting bracket underneath the trailer therefore the best option we have for you is with the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps we do offer the SolidStep Lift Assist Kit for 26" to 29" Wide RV Door Frames # LC733937. This will help with the weight of the steps but in regards to dirt you'd just need to make sure you sweep the steps before they are folded up.
