Hello Frank, thanks for reaching out. At this time we only offer two lift assist struts for the Lippert Solid Steps:

- Replacement Lift Assist Strut for Lippert SolidStep Triple RV Steps - Narrow Door Frames # LC67UD (for Lippert SolidStep 3-step RV steps LC791572)

- Replacement Lift Assist Strut for Lippert SolidStep RV Steps - Wide Door Frames # LC47UD (for Lippert SolidStep 3-step RV steps LC791573)

I will need to confirm the model number of your step to say if our struts will work. Reply on this page with that part number and I can let you know. It sounds like you may have a different step though.

Thanks for your reply. I have four steps so I don't think either of items you listed will work. I will probably replace the existing Lippert steps with a Mor Ride strut assist step assembly. Thanks again. Frank

@Frank Ok thanks for confirming. In that case yes there is not a lift assist made to be added to that step. It will need to be replaced with something lift assist ready like the MORryde you mentioned. The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist # MR75RR is a 4-step and fits doors 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" wide. What is your doorway width?

@JesseM The width of the current mounting plate is 27 1/4.

@FrankM Gotcha! For that I recommend the following: - MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist - 27-3/4" to 28-1/4" Wide Doorways - 4 Steps # MR85RR
