Will The Lippert SolidStep # LC791572 Fit A 24" Door Width

Question:

I have a 2018 cougar 34tsb with the door opening measument of 24 inches. I just want to make sure the lippert LC791572 will fit the opening. The product description says 25-28inches but some of the qanda isee your experts are saying this will work with the 24 inche opening, like I was saying I just want to be sure before I hit the puchase button. Thank

I went out to the warehouse and measured the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down RV Steps # LC791572 and found the mounting bracket to be 21" in width and the actual body of the steps to be approximately 22-5/8" in width so you should have no problem installing these steps in your 24" opening.

You will most likely need to adjust the brackets that close up to the door threshold and hold it in the upright position. I've attached a short video below to help walk you through the installation process.
