Question:

I am currently looking at 5th wheel hitches for a possible change from travel trailer to 5th wheel. I am looking at a 278BH which has the lippert turning point hitch and i like the Curt Crosswing hitch after reading some on it and watching some videos. Is there any issues with a turning point king pin and this hitch. I have a 22 GMC 3500 with the puck system and a 69 bed

You'll need a wedge, but the Turning Point pin box is compatible with the Curt CrossWing Lightweight 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C86JR.

What you'll need is the Wedge for Curt CrossWing 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C85DR.

This will bolt onto the Turning Point pin box to prevent the king pin from rotating inside the hitch. So they are completely compatible, and since you have the puck system in your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500, to mount the CrossWing you'll just need the Adapter Rails # C88KR.
