Third Brake Light Still Flashing After Installing the Pacer 3rd Brake Light Module

Question:

Hi, i am trying to wire an LED 3rd brake light for a camper shell on a 2018 silverado. I am wiring into the trucks 7pin trailer harness to get the connections i need. The caps led dome light is wired up and working as expected. To wire the 3rd brake light, i tried the pacer 20-702 module, and have it wired per the instructions into the 7pin harness. There is a fuse between the module and the light. Problem is, the 3rd brake light flashes with either of the blinkers being turned on. Can you recommend any troubleshooting to try? Could i just have a defective module? Thanks

To me it sounds like you just have a defective unit and just need to replace it. The purpose of the module # PP20-702 is to filter out the turn signal and illuminate the 3rd brake light only.

So, if it is not doing that and you've confirmed you wired everything correctly, you'll just want to replace it. I have attached a wiring diagram for you to check out to verify that you've wired everything correctly.
