Can the RockyMounts DropTop Locking Utility Track Bike Rack Be Used w/ an E-Bike Without a Battery

The weight limit is 35 lbs. my e-bike weighs around 50 without battery and front wheel. Considering that much of weight is on back tire, will this work?

No, the RockyMounts DropTop Locking Truck Bed and Utility Track Bike Rack # RKY57ZR would not work. The 45 lb. weight limit is for the whole bike. With your bike still weighing 50 lbs., that is over the 45 lb. limit.
An option you could consider would be using a truck bed carrier like the RockyMounts HotRod Truck Bed Bike Carrier # RKY1087. Because it sits down on the truck bed and is not supported in the air, it does not have a weight limit associated with it. People will often times take a 1x6 board and mount the carrier to the board. You can then put the board in and out of the truck bed when it is needed.
Unfortunately having an e-bike which naturally has a higher weight, limits the options for carriers/racks.
