Wondering about the LED strip lights for flat towing turn signals. I assume these are a legal lighting substitute? The strips seem small and was wondering if they are difficult to notice when operating?

Yes, the Roadmaster Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM35MR would be acceptable in a flat towing capacity to display your motorhome's light signals through your 2023 Ford Maverick's tail lights. They are only 10" in length with a single line of LED's, so while they would bright it would be just a simple strip of light instead of your typical square or round tail light design like the # TL21RK.
In your situation magnetic lights aren't as easy of an option due to the limited mounting ability with the bed of your Maverick so these would be a much easier to use alternative.
