Does Roadmaster Base Plate Kit fit 2022 Chevy Equinox with Active Shutters

Question:
Hi, I took my 2022 Chevy Equinox to a shop and was told neither the Roadmaster or Blue Ox base plates can be installed. They said they aren’t compatible due to 2022 having lower shutters. The video I just watched on your site showed the install on a 2022 Equinox. Please Advise. Included pic of my 2022 FWD Equinox front. Thank you

The Roadmaster Direct Connect base plate kit part # RM-523193-5 that you referenced does fit models of the 2022 Chevy Equinox that have the active shutters but you will need to trim them. This is mentioned in the attached install instructions for this base plate kit. The shop maybe didn't want to make the permanent modifications needed.
