I have a few options for your 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 with 2.7L I5 Engine, a block heater like the Kat's Heaters Custom Engine Block Heater part # KH11483 or an engine oil pan heater like the Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad part # KH24500. I recommend the block heater as it's a custom fit, designed for your exact vehicle whereas the oil pan heater is a universal stick-on type.
I agree that an oil pan heater with direct submersion would be best but this is unfortunately not something we offer for your vehicle so a block heater is your best best choice.
