As the temperature gets colder, your engine not only requires more power to start, but it also receives less power from the battery. As you can see in the chart above, your battery's power drops to 65-percent of its normal capacity at the freezing point. At this same temperature, the engine needs 65-percent more cranking power than it would normally need in 80-degree weather. By using this thermal wrap on your battery you can ensure that the battery will maintain the same amount of power that it has in warm temperatures. As a result, your engine will get the cranking power that it needs to help ensure a successful startup.

Works perfect for an area of the country that rarely sees sub freezing temperatures. They have been a life saver for our generator batteries during those times.
I've been using this to wrap around the 4 lithium battery bank in my motorhome over the course of a horrible winter here in upstate NY (2024/2025) and it saved them from freezing and becoming damaged!! I'm a 70 year old woman (with no one to help me) who doesn't have the strength to pull out my batteries to store them someplace warm, OR to wrap each battery separately. This large wrap worked great! Highly recommend!
Works great in my class c rv battery compartment located in the step. Added a 2nd heater to my 2ea. agm 100 Ah batteries. Fits lengthwise perfectly down front and back sides held in place with closed cell foam pieces cut to match. With sub freezing ambient temps, Keeps agm’s cozy warm.

Block heater gets hot when plugged in not installed. It will burn your hand. The battery wrap does heat up nicely. I have not installed them but assume they will work just fine.
I've used these items during the winter for the past 5 yrs or so and have NEVER had a Battery a Failure or No Start with these. Just Purchased two more for a couple more vehicles added to fleet.
Great heater, works as advertised. Fit my 98 Jeep Xj perfectly. I bought it last year to try and salvage a week cranking battery when it was cold. Well, a year later I'm wrapping up the same battery for the cold months ahead! Save the strain on your bat with a Kat!
I used this through a winter in the north where it regularly is at subzero temperatures. Truck always started without any issues. I also had heat pads on the oil pan and transmission that I bought from etrailer. At -40+ degrees the truck always started relatively easy.

Already had one and it works great, really helps save your battery on cold days and makes starting/cranking speeds faster instead of the slow crank you get when your battery is cold, i consider it a must have for winter where we get to -20 easily. The last one I got was from another site and cost at least 20% more there, so definitely happy I could get the same product for cheaper here.
