Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Kat's heaters oil or transmission pan heating pad. Now this heating pad is going to warm your oil or transmission fluid for better lubrication in the winter. Warm transmission fluid allows for smoother gear shifting and warm oil is going to give you better lubrication for a longer lasting, better functioning engine. Lemme go ahead and give you some measurements here just so you have a good idea of the size of this pad. So looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at eight and a half inches, the overall width right at five and a half inches.
And this flexible heater is designed for use on oil or transmission pans. The size of the pan or tank that this heater should be used on is determined by the wattage of the heater. So this large 500 watt heating pad is going to give you the best results with oil pans that are up to 35 quartz and tanks that are up to 30 gallons in size. On your screen I've given you a list of possible applications. So for engine oil pans, this is going to work with 20 to 35 quart size pans.
And then with the diesel tanks, this is going to work with 20 to 30 gallons. And then on the hydraulic tanks, again 20 to 30 gallons. And then on water tanks seven to 10 gallons. Now this pad is made here in the USA and this is going to resist oil and acid. This is constructed of silicone and then this is going to be a very simple installation.
It's going to attach to the underside of the pan, whether again it's that oil or transmission pan with the 3M adhesive, you're just going to pull that film back to expose that adhesive. So it's going to stick right in place and then plug into your 120 volt outlet. Instructions are also included and I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
