Possible Applications
This flexible heater is designed for use on oil or transmission pans, but it can also be used to heat hydraulic and water tanks. The size of the pan or tank that this heater should be used on is determined by the wattage of the heater. This large, 500-watt heating pad gives you the best results with oil pans that are up to 35 quarts and tanks that are up to 30 gallons in size (see application details above).

We've yet to have someone come back and report that one has came off.

This is thermostatically controlled too so it will keep the oil warm but would not get overly hot.
