Question:
Hello, I bought a Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar and the Demco Stay in Play Duo brake system for my Jeep Gladiator. My RV has a 4 pin flat connector. What kind of adapter would I need to attach the system to my RV? Thank you very much

The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 has a G-force controller that's only going to wire into the lighting signals that are already included in your 4-pole so you could get a diode wiring kit like # RM-154 (as long as you don't have ParkSense Proximity Sensors) and still use the 4-pole connector but you'd be much better off upgrading from the 4-pole to a 7-pole connector so that you can also run a charge line for your Gladiator.
To convert your motorhome's 4-pole to a 7-pole you'll need part # 37185. The 4-pole connector you have will plug into the connector on the adapter giving you your light functions and from there you'll need to make the following connections:
Blue Wire: This goes to the brake controller in your motorhome cab. If you don't have one or don't plan on using one to tow a trailer then you can just cap this off with some electrical tape and save it for later on when you do need one.
Black Wire: This goes to the battery with an in-line circuit breaker # 9510. You'll want to use some 10ga wire # 10-1-1 to get it to the battery.
White Wire: This is your ground and can just be run to the nearest part of the RV's frame and secured to it with a self-tapping screw.
Purple Wire: This is an auxiliary wire that can be used for reverse lights, reverse lockout for surge brake couplers, etc. but you'll most likely not need it so you can just cap it off with some electrical tape.
Once you have your 7-way in place you can then get started on the diode wiring for your Gladiator. I recommend using part # RM-152 along with # RM-910030-7 since your Nighthawk # RM-677 will come with the 7-way cable. If you have ParkSense Proximity Sensors then you'll need to swap out # RM-152 with # RM47ZR for LED tail lights or # RO94FR for incandescent lights.
Lastly, if you're not getting the Stay-In-Play that includes the coachlink monitor # DM86VR then you'll also need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751497 so that the indicator light for your system can get the brake signal.
This can seem like a whole lot so if you have any questions then let me know and I can help walk you through it more.
