In order to flat tow your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you are going to need a base plate, a set of tow bars, a wiring harness, and a braking system.
For a base plate I recommend checking out the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521440-5. This base plate is going to work out great with your Grand Cherokee, has a clean non-obtrusive design, and requires no welding for install.
Next, for a set of compatible tow bars, I recommend checking out the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676. This tow bar is going to be compatible with your base plate system, has an integrated LED light for low light hookup & disconnect, and has a maximum weight capacity of 8,000-lbs.
Continuing on to a braking system, I recommend checking out the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This braking system will apply the towed vehicle's brakes in proportion to braking action of RV, meaning that the towed car's brakes are activated at the same time and with the same intensity as those in your motor home.
Finally, for a wining harness, I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This wiring harness will connect your RV's tail, brake and turn signal lights to your towed car's lighting system, will work with 2-wire (combined) and 3-wire (separate) systems, and will prevent electrical feedback and the damage it can cause to your vehicle's electrical components.
Attached are a couple of installation videos for you to check out as well.
