The correct anode rod for an Atwood 6 Gallon Water Heater is the Camco RV Water Heater Anode Rod part # CAM11553 which measures 4-1/2" long x 1/2" diameter. There is also a version of this with a built-in drain valve, the part # CAM11533. There are really only two common size anode rods used in the Atwood Water Heaters, 4-1/2" which is for the six gallon tanks and 9-1/2" which is for the ten gallon tanks.
