I spoke with Blue Ox personally about the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU47XR, and they informed me that you can expect roughly a 5-6 hour installation time for an experienced installer.
Additionally, if you're interested in completing your flat towing setup you're also going to need:
-A wiring kit # RM-154,
-A tow bar # RM-677,
&
-A braking system # HM39494.
